PCC leads antitrust, markets panel on 57th PES Conference on November 7

In this year’s biggest gathering of economists and development thought leaders in the country, the Philippine Competition Commission joins the 57th Annual Meeting and Conference of the Philippine Economic Society on November 7, 2019 at Novotel Manila, Quezon City, bearing the plenary topic: “Dynamic Markets, Growth, and Inequality: Can Antitrust Crack the Code?”

The powerhouse session moderated by Dean Ronald U. Mendoza will include Chairman Arsenio M. Balisacan of the Philippine Competition Commission; Congresswoman Stella Luz A. Quimbo of the House of Representatives; PH Country Director Kelly Bird of the Asian Development Bank; National Scientist for Economics Raul V. Fabella of the University of the Philippines School of Economics; and Chairman Guillermo M. Luz of the Liveable Cities Challenge and former head of the National Competitiveness Council.
